Gorgeous food. Presentation s uperb. With chefs who know how to prepare good food.My lobster was delicious as was my whitebait starter. Friendly attentive staff. Interior decor is lovely.

We visited the Nook whilst on holiday as it was recommended to us, it was so good we went twice. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food presentation was excellent and tasted amazing,the restaurant is very clean with quite background music it was quite romantic in a way. I would highly recommend anyone to visit it as it was more that obvious that they take great pride in the food they produce and service they deliver. We had a very enjoyable experience

We stumbled across this little gem, by accident, as everywhere else was booked up which was a blessing in disguise. Excellent seafood and exceptional steak cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, also no pretentious wine prices well below £20.

We stumbled upon this small family run restaurant on our first visit to Barmouth - what a find! From booking a table early afternoon to settling the very reasonable tab at the end of the evening our experience was first class. Such a refreshing change from the chips with everything offered elsewhere. The fish menu included such delights as Cardogan Bay crab au gratin and steamed Thai style Sea Bass fillet, both of which were very much enjoyed by us both. Meat dishes are also offered but if fish is your thing this is the plaice for you (see what I did there!). Can't wait to return.

Our first time staying in Barmouth, we enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate dinner here twice during our 4 night stay. The first time we shared the tempura prawns and the prawn salad then my husband had the fish crumble and I had the cod creole. Everything was delicious and the hazelnut meringue with raspberries, cream and ice cream was a-mazing! Our second visit, we both had the paté followed by steaks which were perfectly cooked to our liking. The staff were friendly and efficient. A great find.
